Membership Information, Terms & Conditions:

1. Your Vacation Club Membership is valid for twelve Months from the date that you join and this membership will guarantee you access to our very lowest negotiated rates of the day. However, the Vacation Club Vouchers that you receive in your membership package do not expire and can be used at a time that suits you. This is subject to the terms & conditions displayed for each resort listing. The rates displayed in the Resorts Guide and on this site are valid until 31/03/08 unless otherwise specified. After this date, the rates may change and the current rates of the day can then be found on our web site at salt.affordableholidays.com.au.

2. Each time you want to take advantage of an offer available in your Vacation Club Member's Guide or on the site, you will be required to redeem a Vacation Club Voucher/s. The number of vouchers to be redeemed will be clearly displayed with the rates for the individual resort. If you do not have your voucher/s when you check-in, the resort staff may not honour the Vacation Club Member rate and you may be charged the full resort rate applicable at the time of your stay.

3. We use the term "Resort" to refer to all styles of accommodation that is advertised in your Vacation Club Member's Guide and on this web site. While we do offer alternative styles of accommodation including, B&B's, Guest Houses, Hotels, Motels, Villas & Lodges, the term resort is used as a reference only.

4. SALT Vacation Club offers three resort categories.

Premium Resorts offer members a heavily discounted off-peak rate only. This means that all rates listed are not valid for use during school holidays, long weekends, public holidays or special event weekends. Please check with the individual resort as to what dates apply.

Premium Plus Resorts offer members a heavily discounted off-peak rate as well as 15% off during most peak periods. Please check with the individual resort as to what dates apply or refer to our web site, salt.affordableholidays.com.au.

Premium Resort Partners offer members an exclusive discount as a part of their SALT Vacation Club Membership. The discount offered will vary based on when and where you book, the duration of your stay and how many guests will be staying. 5.Deposits. When you make a reservation at a resort, you may be required to pay a small deposit to confirm your booking. This deposit is deducted from the member's rate advertised in your Vacation Club Member's Guide and the balance is then paid directly to the resort on arrival. All deposits paid to the resort are subject to the individual properties terms & conditions.

6. Availability & Allocation. All bookings with a resort are subject availability and room allocation. As our member rates are so heavily discounted, some rooms may not be available at these promotional prices.

7. Refunds & Cancellation Policy. No refunds will be made outside of the standard cooling off period. All requests for cancellation should be forwarded in writing and are subject to an administrative cancellation fee of $30. No refund will be made until your package is returned. We reserve the right to recover additional costs should your package be returned incomplete, damaged or destroyed in any way.

8. Guide Updates & Amendments. Your Members Guide and this web site are correct at time of printing, however, may change at any time. These changes may include resort listings, rates and resorts terms & conditions. To request an updated members Guide, you can do so by contacting our administration staff on 1300 797 577 or email
 salt@affordableholidays.com.au, a small costs is involved and will be advised upon request. Alternatively, you may wish to view any new rates or resorts on our web site at  salt.affordableholidays.com.au or please contact your Resort Sales Consultant to discuss your options.

Voucher Conditions of Use.

1. The use of this Vacation Club Voucher is subject to availability, as well as the specific conditions required by each resort.
2. Resorts may allocate a certain number of rooms for these heavily discounted offers so even though the Resort may have vacancies, they may only accept a set number of Vacation Club Vouchers at any one time. Book early to avoid disappointment.
3. To make a reservation:
   1. Phone the Resort direct, notify them that you are an Affordable Holidays' Vacation Club Member and make a booking. The Resort may request you pay a deposit at time of booking with the balance payable on check-in.
   2. Quote your Vacation Club Voucher number to the Resort.
   3. Complete all the details on your Vacation Club Voucher.
   4. Upon check-in, present your Vacation Club Voucher(s) and pay the Resort the balance of the Member Rate. Note: Failure to provide your original Vacation Club Voucher may result in you being charged the standard Resort rate.
4. All reservations are subject to each resort's usual Terms and Conditions. You should ask at the time of booking for the Resort's Cancellation Policy.
5. The rates, Terms & Conditions and Descriptions for each Resort are correct at the time of printing but may change without notice. Affordable Holidays cannot take responsibility for any changes beyond our control.
6. Please keep your Vacation Club Vouchers in a safe place as they cannot be replaced if lost.
7. All Vacation Club Vouchers are transferable.
